English for Business Purposes

English for Business Purposes is offered to professionals and job seekers to develop their English language proficiency in the workplace. The program helps participants conduct business in English in a variety of contexts. The program focuses on the practical everyday communication that is often used in the workplace at different levels of proficiency.

The program combines ideas from the business world applying a task-based approach and tackles a wide range of real workplace challenges for employees in the majority of business fields.

All courses will include the components identified below:

Functional input for reading, speaking, and listening;
Step-by-step guidance for writing tasks needed in the work place such as emails, memos, letters and reports;
Workplace vocabulary development activities;
Guided explanation and review of essential grammar for writing for workplace related topics;
Regular focus on key workplace functions through authentic case studies to allow participants to practice the learned language.

Mr. Mahmoud Mousa

An English SAT teacher and certified teacher licensed in the UAE Ministry of Education. He is in his twelfth year teaching English. He studies in the tenth, eleventh and twelfth grades in schools that implement the American curriculum.

He graduated from Mansoura University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a specialization in texts analysis (2010) and also holds a Diploma of Arts in Teaching (2014). He was the 2017 AMS Teacher of the Year.

As an Educational Leader and Advocate, He believes that the good students deserve to become successful people. He has dedicated himself to becoming A life-long Educator & Learner, and he strives to facilitate the educational process and instill the spirit of diligence and success and success in the hearts of the students he teaches.
